News jobs are coming to the ArkLaTex

New Jersey based paper company, Ronpak, has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to the Port of Shreveport-Bossier.

Jobs, jobs, and more jobs are coming to the ArkLaTex. New Jersey based Ronpak plans to set up shop at the Port of Shreveport-Bossier. At 5, we'll break down the jobs numbers for you, and KSLA News 12's Brittany Pieper found out from the company's owner what went into the decision to move to Louisiana.

In your community, do you have any extra Mardi Gras beads? The Mardi Gras Krewe of Aesclepius and Raising Cane's at Pierre Bossier Mall will be hosting a Mardi Gras Bead Recycling Drive. The drive is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
