A Shreveport police officer is arrested, accused of stealing a ceremonial American flag while executing a search warrant in a drug case. We'll have more at 6.

The Texas Department of Public Safety announced today the implementation of new proof of residency requirements for Texas residents to obtain state driver licenses or identification cards.

Butch Browning is being re-instated as Louisiana State Fire Marshal. Browning retired from his job in April, saying he was taking a job as a superintendent at a plant in Ascension Parish, not because of an investigation by the Inspector General against the Fire Marshal's Office.
