Robbery suspect collapses, dies while fleeing

Officers responded to the reported armed robbery just after Noon on Friday at the A-1 Quik Cash in the 5400 block of Hearne Avenue and arrived to find the suspect unconscious behind the building.

A report of a robbery at a Shreveport Quik Cash ended this afternoon with the suspect collapsing and dying before police could arrive.

The victims in the early-morning murder-suicide today involving a father and two little boys in Frierson have been identified, while police are still trying to determine the motive. Erin Stevenson has spent the day in DeSoto Parish gathering the latest on this tragic case and will bring us up to date at 5:00.
