CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -
Caddo Sheriff's deputies and Caddo Fire District 7 have identified a woman injured in a head-on collision at Belcher Oil City and Gamm roads in North Caddo Parish Thursday.
Deputies say around 4:15 p.m. 56-year-old Nadene Adger was traveling eastbound in an Oldsmobile near the I-49 construction site when she crossed the center line and hit a maroon car driven by 24-year-old Matthew Johnston. Adger was airlifted to LSUHSC with non-life threatening injuries. Johnston was not injured.
Deputies say Adger was trapped in her vehicle and officials had to use the jaws of life to remove her from her car. The was no airbag in Adger's car.
Deputies are still trying to determine what caused Adger to cross the line. At this time, she has been cited for driving under suspension. The investigation is continuing.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>
