Arrest is made in the death of a Shreveport toddler

This is the scene of a toddler death investigation Wednesday on the 2000 block of Milam Street.

KSLA News 12's Fred Childers has confirmed that an arrest has been made in the death Wednesday of a Shreveport toddler. We were the only station on the scene of the investigation. We'll have the latest on KSLA News 12 at 6.

There are also disturbing new details tonight at 6 in the arrest of an East Texas pastor accused of attempting to have sex with an underaged girl.

Also at 6, twice-convicted killer Robert Glen Coleman has been sentenced to death by lethal injection for the murder of 70-year-old retired minister Julian Brandon. His request for a new trial, which would have been his third, has been denied.

The remains found on Monday in a wooded area outside of Marshall, Texas have been identified as those of a woman missing since April 20.

The step-daughter of a Caddo Parish man killed in a murder-for-hire plot is now back in Louisiana, charged with murder in connection with the case.
