Highway 3132 extension delay is now headed to court

A Caddo judge set a July 12 trial date for the lawsuit against members of the Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments over the delayed completion of an extension of Hwy. 3132 in South Shreveport. Is Mayor Cedric Glover worried about a contempt of court charge? We're digging deep at 6.

There's a new twist to a story we told you about last night where a man is accused of breaking into a home and holding three people at gunpoint. It was apparently over a credit card scam. Wait until you see where this story heads next. It's definitely a consumer alert at 6.

Day 2 in the trial of a Shreveport woman accused of killing of her Airman boyfriend is under way in Caddo Parish District Court. On the stand, the lead investigator in the case walked the jury through the crime scene, photo by photo, and testifies that nothing indicated Kimethia Coleman was mentally unstable on the morning of the murder. U.S. Army Air Force Sgt. Brian Spinks was stabbed more than 60 times in his Quail Creek Apartment. At one point during testimony today, the jury had to be removed from the courtroom. Details on what happened, and the rest of the day's testimony, is coming up on KSLA News 12 at 5:00.
