Toledo, OH (WTOL) - Two people have been arrested by Toledo Police and charged with child endangerment after an infant's body was found in a freezer Friday night.
Kenisha Pruitt, 20, of 2631 Scottwood and Antonio Cervantes, 18, of 5324 Rector were arrested Saturday afternoon.
Toledo Police Sergeant Joe Heffernan says police were called to 116 Paine Ave in east Toledo around 8 p.m. Friday. The landlord was cleaning the vacant rental property when the body was discovered.
Court records indicate Cervantes was Pruitt's live in boyfriend. They resided at the Paine Ave address since November of 2011. Family members say Pruitt was believed to be pregnant in November 2011 with no birth reported. No other adults were know to occupy this location during this time.
Pruitt and Cervantes will be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Monday morning.
The infant's body was transported to the Lucas County Coroner's office for an autopsy. Court documents say the infant appeared to have been a full term birth.
