BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The former LSU vet school employee fired after harassment allegations from a grad student is now taking legal action.

Marc Boudreaux is suing the university and student Elizabeth Lum.  Last October, Lum filed a restraining order against Boudreaux, saying he forced her to have sex or he would sabotage her chances of getting her doctorate.

A judge later dismissed Lum's restraining order and awarded Boudreaux $1,500 in attorney fees.

Boudreaux's attorney now wants to clear his smeared reputation.

"If you, for example, Google my client's name you get a ton of these allegations. And there's no mechanism to say, wait a minute, the judge reviewed every allegation she made, all of the alleged evidence she had and threw it out as absolutely frivolous," said Jill Craft.

Craft says LSU maintains the harassment accusations weren't the only reason Boudreaux lost his job.
