Three injured in stabbing in West Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Three people were injured after a stabbing in West Shreveport Wednesday evening.

Shreveport police say the stabbing happened around 6 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Jewella Avenue and Michigan Boulevard. Police say 22 year-old Danzeria Farris was arguing with two family members when he stabbed them. Another family member tried to stop the fight, stabbing Farris.

Police say the suspect was also tazed for threats to responding officers.

The two victims were rushed to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Farris who was also taken to the hospital for his injuries remains in the custody of Shreveport Police and now faces two counts of attempted 1st degree murder.
