PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) -
The Sheriff's Office took a missing persons report at approximately 2 p. m. Tuesday after it was discovered that 99 year old, John Ickerd, Jr., of 38392 Bonnieview Drive Prairieville, Louisiana was missing.
He was safely located with his vehicle in Deridder, Louisiana, which is about three hours northeast of Prairieville.
Mr. Ickerd talks with his daughter several times a day and she last saw him Monday, April 9, 2012 at approximately 5:30 p.m. at his home. Ickerd still drives his blue 1987 four door Ford Crown Victoria.
According to family, Ickerd does not have any known health problems and lives alone. The family told authorities it is unusual for Ickerd to leave for this period of time and not tell anyone.
