An arrest has been made in a 2011 homicide in Bossier City that left a Vivian man dead.  26 year old Michael Ray Madden of Greenwood is charged with second degree murder in  the July 23, 2011 shooting death of 21 year old James Dean Smith. Smith was shot and killed as he drove his vehicle on Old Minden Road near the intersection of Benton Spur after he and a friend left the Rockin' Rodeo on Gould Drive.

We continue to follow the story of an officer involved shooting over the weekend that left a driver shot after Shreveport Mounted Patrol officers say they noticed a truck driving erratically through an alley. The update on the driver and information about the officer on a previous shooting into a similar incident.
