Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum brings his campaign to Shreveport- Bossier Sunday.
He'll speak at First Baptist Bossier at its 9:30 service, and at the 10:50 service at Calvary Baptist Church.
His visit comes less than a week before the Louisiana Republican Primary. Pastor Rick Edmonds says this is in no way an endorsement of Santorum, nor is it a political rally.
"It's an inside look at what this man believes and what he stands for in his own home and how he leads his own family," Edmonds says.
Santorum was in Missouri Saturday making a similar appearance at a Christian academy.
"We're being outspent about 10-to-1 everywhere we go. And money is not going to buy this election. Vision and character and authenticity and trust are going to win this election," he says.
"We're interested in those kind of leaders that have faith and family values. It's very high on our priority list," adds Edmonds.
He tells us Sunday's service will be a normal service, just with a special guest in the audience and possibly a few more people in the seats.
"I think we'll be at capacity Sunday. I think people are interested in what a person really believes, and they can hear it first hand. You just don't get that opportunity every day. And I think they'll take advantage of that."
