MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK (KSLA) -
More crews have joined the search for the six-year-old boy missing since his father's boat capsized over the weekend on the Little River in McCurtain County. That's according to Holly Creek Fire and Rescue Chaplain Steve Jackson.
6-year-old Dalton Lycklama was fishing with his father Steve and 8-year-old brother Devin when their boat capsized on the river in McCurtain County on Sunday. Rescue workers have recovered Steve Lycklama's body along with the boat on Sunday. Devin's body was found on Monday.
Jackson says Garmin Fire and Rescue has joined in the search, bring more boats and people to the search, which is still focusing on the main area where the boat was found on Sunday, downstream from the dam and up to the City of Ida Mills Water Treatment plant.
The search area stretches from the nearby dam up to the City of Idabel Water treatment plant down stream.
Jackson says members of the recovery effort have expressed their sincere gratitude to those who have provided food and other supplies during the prolonged search.
No information has been released on any funeral arrangements for Dalton's father and older brother.
A fund has been set up to support the Lycklama family, as the search continues for six-year-old Dalton. The bodies of his eight-year-old brother Devin and their father, Steve, have been recovered from the Little River in McCurtain County, Oklahoma.More>>
