SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A brief chase following an alleged ‘snatch and grab' at a Shreveport mall ended Thursday afternoon with the arrest of three people.
The incident happened at Shreveport's Mall St. Vincent and in an attempt to getaway, the suspects led police on a brief chase.
The chase ended minutes later at Mansfield Rd. and Murray St., according to police.
Three females were taken into custody and officers were able to recover some merchandise they suspect had been stolen. Police also said there was a two-year-old child in the suspects' vehicle at the time of their arrest.
Authorities suspect the three women may be involved in multiple shoplifting cases. The suspects' names have not been released.
