GRAMBLING, LA (KSLA) - As part of Black History Month, KSLA News 12 shined the spotlight on legendary Grambling State University Football Coach Eddie Robinson.
Coach Robinson spent 57 seasons consistently fielding stellar football teams. In 1995, Robinson became the first college football coach to break the 400-win mark, a mark once thought to be unreachable. In 1997, Robinson retired with an overall record of 408 wins, 165 losses and 15 ties. His contribution to the game will be remembered forever. GSU also named its football stadium the Eddie Robinson stadium. He was officially inducted into the college football hall of fame.
