NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
A Nacogdoches County trooper arrested a Katy man Tuesday morning after he reportedly found two pounds of marijuana hidden under a console during a traffic stop.
According to the arrest report, Trooper Jay Stone pulled over a 2010 Toyota Camry, driven by Damion Farenza Gamble, 27, after he made an unsafe lane change in the northbound side of U.S. 59.
Stone reported that Gamble provided numerous criminal indicators while he spoke with him and gave a verbal consent to allow him to search the vehicle.
Stone reported finding two pounds of marijuana under the center console and arrested Gamble on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Gamble claimed he was traveling from Houston to Monroe, La.
