BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Louisiana Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne, Chef John Folse and Bruce Mitchell of "Swamp People" are in New York to promote the state and encourage people to visit.

According to LouisianaTravel.com, Dardenne is participating in an authentic Louisiana-themed swamp experience re-created in the heart of Manhattan.

HISTORY, the network that airs Swamp People, is a partner in the presentation.

The exhibit is located inside Chelsea Market.

Chef John Folse is providing the food.

There is also music and demonstrations.
