Who is the nation's toughest female hunter?
Hackberry native Jackie Gross, 29, is among nine other contestants in the third annual Extreme Huntress Competition hosted by Tahoe Films, Ltd.
Gross submitted a 500-word essay explaining her love for hunting and it earned her a spot in the finals. Now in second place and only a few days left of the contest, she's asking for support.
"Hunting is my passion," Gross said. "I'm just the average gal who saves all my pennies and does whatever I can to hunt."
