MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK (KSLA) -

The woman accused in the theft of five horses from Southern Arkansas University posted bail Thursday.

Jaci Jackson, 19, posted a $50,000 bond in McCurtain County, Oklahoma, where she faces charges of transporting stolen property into the state, concealing stolen property and cruelty to animals. Jackson also faces six felony counts of stolen property in Arkansas.

These charges are from a theft in November from the stables at SAU. In addition to the horses, riding equipment was also taken. Four horses as well as most of the equipment was recovered. The fifth horse, "Credit Card", was killed and butchered.
