Husband and wife sentenced for drug trafficking

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -

A Doddridge husband and wife are going to federal prison on drug trafficking charges.

U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas Conner Eldridge announced that 39-year-old Rebecca Miller and husband, 37-year-old Daniel Miller, were sentenced in federal court in Texarkana.

U.S. District Court Judge Harry Barnes sentenced Rebecca Miller on Thursday to 15 years in prison with no parole and four years supervised release. Barnes sentenced Daniel Miller on Friday to 30 years in prison with no parole and 5 years supervised release.

U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Arkansas Law Clerk Charlcee Small says Rebecca Miller was charged with one count of intent to distribute more than 50 grams of drugs and three counts of helping others distribute more than 5 grams of drugs. Daniel Miller was charged with one count of intent to distribute more than 500 grams of drugs and four counts of helping others distribute more than 5 grams of drugs.
