SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police say they are searching for a local man they believe robbed a victim at gunpoint in early November.

Detectives have an arrest warrant charging 27-year-old Roderick Morris, of the 6500 block of West Canal Boulevard, with one count of armed robbery in connection with the robbery of an adult male victim on November 4th in the 2700 block of Southern Avenue. Morris's bond is set at $150,000.

Shreveport Police Department Public Spokesperson Bill Goodin says investigators believe the victim and Morris know each other and were engaged in some type of dispute when Morris pulled out a gun and hit the victim in the head with it. Morris then stole items from the victim and fled on foot.

Anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of Roderick Morris is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective Josh Feliciano at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
