SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Friends and family members of the four-year-old who was injured at the Louisiana State Fair Wednesday, have set up an account to assist the family with expenses.

Anyone who would like to help can make a contribution in his name, Sheldon Renard Lewis, at any Capital One bank in the area.

For more information about the fund, contact the family's minister, Rev. Johnny Cox at 393-8888.

SJ remains in critical condition in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at LSU Health Shreveport.

Few details have been released about his nature of his injuries, but KSLA News 12 has confirmed the boy has undergone surgery on his leg and has been on a ventilator. "S.J." has also reportedly opened his eyes and looked around.  He is said to be "out-breaking" the ventilator and could be taken off of the breathing machine on Saturday.
