UPDATE: State Fire Marshal to release details on state fair accident

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

More details will be revealed Monday about the accident at the State Fair of Louisiana that critically injured a four-year-old boy.

"S.J." Lewis remains in critical condition at LSU Hospital after becoming trapped between a car and a rotating platform in a children's amusement ride at the fair on Wednesday. Rescuers were forced to use the "jaws of life" to cut the boy free.

The State Fire Marshal's Office has lead the investigation, and has announced plans to release information in a news conference on Monday, November 7th.

Louisiana State Fire Marshal H. "Butch" Browning will hold the press conference at 11 a.m.
