Does your job bring a daily dose of happiness and fulfillment each day?
America Now decided to take a closer look at the happiest jobs in the country.
According to the General Social Survey of the National Organization for Research at the University of Chicago, psychologists, firefighters and clergy rank among the 10 happiest jobs.
Clergy are at the very top of the list.
"I have the joy of studying and sharing what I learn in preaching, and the honor of walking with people in the midst of their times of deepest sorrow and greatest joy," said the Rev. Nancy Allison of Holy Covenant United Church of Christ.
American Now also spoke with a firefighter who said people are usually happy to see them even in the worst of moments because they know firefighters are there to help them.
Experts say jobs that require social interaction are those in which people appear to be the happiest.
Teachers and physical therapists are also included in the top 10, which are both professions that involve working with others.
While artists and authors tend to work alone, they also made the list.
Operating engineers, who often operate large pieces of machinery, said they were happy with their jobs, too.
