New shelter for E. TX wildfires now open in Carthage, TX

A new shelter reportedly has now opened up in East Texas for victims of wildfires.

Residents in the Panola, Harrison, Rusk and Shelby counties in Texas who have been affected by the recent wildfires and need assistance can contact Mission Carthage, located in Carthage, Texas.

The shelter reportedly provides food, clothes and other needs for victims. To contact Mission Carthage, call 903-693-4673 (HOPE).
