UPDATE: The fire in the Church Hill area has been extinguished and all Rusk County roads have been re-opened. Authorities say motorists should watch for smoke in the area.
UPDATE: Officials have told us that the fire is now 60% contained.
CHURCH HILL, TX (KLTV) - Officials have confirmed that a fire is burning near County Road 324 in Rusk County.
The fire which is not contained at this time, started around 4pm today. Church Hill, Tatum and Clayton fire departments are on the scene as well as the Texas Foresty Service.
County Roads 324, 327 and 328 are closed at this time, however there are no evacuations.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>
