SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A Shreveport woman accused in the 2010 stabbing death of her boyfriend has been found incompetent to stand trial.

Coleman was arrested in January of 2010 and charged with 2nd degree murder for the fatal stabbing of Brian Spinks, 29, at an apartment in the 1000 block of Quail Creek Rd.

Coleman claimed an unidentified black male had come in to the apartment and stabbed the victim, but officers maintain that Coleman stabbed Spinks during a domestic dispute.

At a sanity hearing held Wednesday in Caddo District Court, Judge Mike Pittman found Kimethia Coleman mentally incompetent and ordered another evaluation in 90 days.
