Bossier City Police news release on triple murder arrest

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM THE BOSSIER CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

BOSSIER CITY POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN TRIPLE HOMICIDE

Bossier City police have made an arrest in connection with last week's triple homicide at the Bill Norris Appliance Center in the 2300 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

Police arrested 39-year old Gerald Cortez Needham of Bossier City early Thursday evening after obtaining a warrant for his arrest charging him with three counts of first degree murder. Bond is set at $1,000,000 (one million dollars) on each count for a total bond of $3,000,000 (three million dollars).

Bossier City Police Chief Shane McWilliam will provide more information at a news conference scheduled for tomorrow, April 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. in his office at the Bossier City Police Department, 620 Benton Road.
