BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - The Louisiana Boardwalk has been sold for $80 million. J. E. Robert Co. bought the Bossier City property this morning at public auction. The property went up for sale after developer O & S Holdings defaulted on it's loan earlier this year.
The original mortgage lender (US Bank National Association) won the bid on the property. This is the largest sheriff's sale in Bossier Sheriff's Department history.
Until it's sale Wednesday morning, it was under the management of Alabama-based Bayer Properties.
Bidding opened at $55.2 million.
