Unrelated arrest made after 'suspicious' person search

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Who was that strange man?

Hours after Bossier City Police scoured the campus of the old Bossier General Hospital on Airline Drive SWAT team members reported finding no one.

Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, police report that a security guard on duty at Bossier General Medical Center, located off Airline Dr. at Shed Rd. called police saying that he spotted a male inside the mostly vacant building with what was described as a sheath large enough for a machete.

After the all clear was given, Bossier City Police report that they learned that the security guard who originally called in the suspicious person ended up being arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a speeding ticket.
