Man dies in Saturday night's wreck on Mansfield Rd.

UPDATE: KSLA News 12 has learned that the man who was transported to the hospital as a result of an accident that happened Saturday evening's has died.

The accident happened shortly before 8:30 pm in the 12200 block of Mansfield Road. Archie Norman, from Stonewall was airlifted to LSU Medical Center was pronounced dead upon arrival.

 

Shreveport, LA(KSLA)- Caddo Sheriff's Office units responded to the scene of a 2-vehicle accident in Southwest Shreveport.

It happened shortly before 8:30 pm Saturday in the 12200 of Mansfield Road. About 13 units responded to the scene of the crash.

KSLA News 12 was told one person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Traffic on Mansfield Road was being diverted onto Barron Road for motorists traveling in the northbound lanes of Mansfield Road, that's near Keithville Elementary.

Law enforcement is investigating the crash.

    The baby’s mother used heroin and prescription pain medication during her pregnancy, and the baby was born addicted to drugs, police say.
