RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech had three score in double-figures and connected on a season-high 12 3-point field goals but it wasn't enough as San Jose State overcame a seven point second half deficit to knock off the Bulldogs 79-74 Thursday night at the Thomas Assembly Center.
San Jose State (9-7, 1-4 WAC) was led by four double-digit scorers with Keith Shamburger and Justin Graham pacing the offensive attack with 21 apiece.
The Spartans were without one of the NCAA's most prolific scorers as Adrian Oliver did not make the trip to Ruston.
Tevin Hall and Cordarius Johnson both tallied career-high performances as they scored 17 and 14 points respectively. DeAndre Brown's 17 points marked the 11th time this season that he has scored 15-plus points.
San Jose was able to limit Tech forward Olu Ashaolu to a season-low four points.
Louisiana Tech (9-9, 0-4 WAC) returns to action Saturday evening as Hawai'i pays a visit to Ruston. First tip is slated for 7 p.m.
