CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The trial of accused serial killer Anthony Sowell has been delayed - again.
The accused Cleveland Strangler was in court Thursday, getting his trial delayed another three months.
Sowell is facing charges for killing 11 women on Cleveland's east side. The crimes could send him to death row.
Last Friday, 19 Action News broke the story that his attorneys want more time to go through thousands of hours of surveillance video, sift through scientific evidence, find school records and prepare arguments to save Sowell's life.
Thursday, Judge Dick Ambrose made sure Sowell understands his giving up a right to a speedy trial before he reluctantly agreed to delay things from February until May.
