Woman found dead inside truck at Caddo business

News Release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office
CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) – Caddo sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in her vehicle on West Antoine Loop Wednesday afternoon.

The woman was in the driver's seat of a Ford F250 truck with North Carolina plates discovered around noon parked under a shed at a vacant business. Employees of the business found the woman when they went to the building to show the property to a potential buyer.

Deputies responding to the scene said the truck was locked, and a large dog was inside with the body. Animal Control responded and took possession of the dog.

It is not known how long the truck had been at that location or when the woman died. It is also not known whether the woman had any connections to the local area. An autopsy will be conducted by the Caddo Coroner's Office to determine cause of death. The woman's identity has not yet been confirmed.
