MANSFIELD, LA (KSLA) - The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested two men, Dwayne Hooks and Kevin Brown, in connection with a bank robbery in Sabine Parish, Louisiana.

Just before Noon Wednesday, it was confirmed by Sabine Parish officials that the People's State Bank in Pleasant Hill had been robbed.

Brown and Hooks allegedly got away in an employee's vehicle, and later ditched it.  They picked up a Ford Taurus, which was found about 20 miles away at a home in the east side of the town of Mansfield.

DeSoto Parish Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle tells KSLA News 12 that the suspects were found in a wooded area about a mile and a half away from the home where the car was found.

Arbuckle says it's possible that the two suspects are may be connected to at least five other robberies in Louisiana and Texas.  The FBI has taken over the investigation.

Brown and Hooks are being held at the DeSoto Detention Facility.
