SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Tuesday evening, following the news of Former Asst. Chief Administrative Officer Rick Seaton's arrest on a charge of forcible rape, Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover issues a statement.

It reads:  "The arrest of Rick Seaton represents the next step of what will be a long and arduous process for all involved. I want to commend the men and women of the Shreveport Police Dept. and the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office for the professional manner in which they have conducted this investigation thus far. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the alleged victim and her family, as well as to Mr. Seaton and his family. The ultimate hope is for the full truth to  be known and for justice to be served." - Shreveport Mayor, Cedric Glover.
