Shreveport Chase Bank robbed, suspect at large

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police search for a suspected bank robber.

Thursday morning, Shreveport Police were called out to the Chase Bank, located in the 300 block of E. 70th St. for an alleged robbery. 

Police say a suspect armed with a gun, walked into the bank, demanded money from one of the tellers at gunpoint and then fled the scene after being given an undisclosed amount of money.

Fortunately no one was hurt during this robbery, police said.

At this time, Shreveport Police have been unable to identify the suspect. The male suspect, according to authorities, is said to be about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a slender build.
