Bossier City woman still missing 19 yrs. later

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) –The Bossier City Police Department and the family of a Bossier City woman appeal to the public Monday for any information into her disappearance 19 years ago.

The family of Penny Madanat, a Bossier City woman who was last seen, Oct. 26, 1991, leaving Cowboys Nightclub, (now Rockin' Rodeo), located on Gould Dr. in Bossier City.

Police say Madanat was 23-years-old at the time of her disappearance. Authorities suspect foul play, but there are reportedly many unanswered questions surround the case.

By publicizing the case again, police say they hope someone may step forward with information about her disappearance.

Madanat is described as being a white female, 5'7" tall, with auburn hair and blue eyes. She reportedly wore braces on her teeth and had a birthmark on her left arm, along with a small mole above her lip on the right side.

Bossier City Police and the family of Penny Madanat encourage anyone with information to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100. A $1,000 reward is available to anyone with vital information that helps police locate Madanat.
