Autopsy: Bossier City Marshal was drunk at time of death

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – An autopsy report states that an elected official in Bossier Parish was driving drunk the night he died in a car crash.

According to the autopsy report KSLA News 12 obtained, Marshal Johnny Wyatt was intoxicated when he crashed his car, dying of chest injuries.

It basically says that the night Johnny Wyatt crashed, his blood alcohol was twice that of the legal limit.

The limit is between 0.08 – 0.1. The report states that Wyatt's blood measured 0.2.

Wyatt's vehicle reportedly left I-220, crossed over Shed Road, then hit a large culvert back in October.

Wyatt was elected Bossier City Marshal, in 1991.
