Bossier man arrested for alleged child porn & obstruction

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - A Bossier City man has been arrested by police for allegedly being in possession of child pornography.

71-year-old William Olen Titchenal was arrested by authorities on Monday following an investigation and warrant by the Louisiana Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit.

Bossier City police say they were contacted by the A.G.'s office after it's investigation determined that Titchenal had downloaded images of pornography involving children onto his computer from the Internet.

Titchenal was also reportedly charged with obstruction of justice after investigators learned he had deleted the images. Titchenal's computer was allegedly seized also.

The Louisiana Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit is reportedly a unit that investigates computer crimes.

Titchenal remains at the Bossier City Maximum Facility as of Tuesday afternoon.
