No full body scanners in Ark-La-Tex

SHREVEPORT (KSLA) - New TSA regulations won't slow down Ark-La-Tex travelers. Local airports don't have the body scanners that would add an extra step in the security process.

Travelers flying from Monroe, LA, and Texarkana, AR, don't have to worry about the scanners yet either. However, passengers on flights out of Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas will be forced to choose between full body scanners and "pat-downs."

Officials at DFW said passengers on flights connecting in Dallas won't have to go through security unless they leave the airport terminals.
