Scanner proof underwear

(KSLA) – In light of the new procedures now required at airport security, the market for scan proof underwear has just began.

Colorado inventor Jeff Bruske says he has created a special kind of underwear with a fig leaf design that helps protect your privacy.

Inside the fig leaf is a powdered metal radiation shield so full body scanners cannot see what is under it. Bruske speaks out about his new invention, "Machine washable, lead free, easy to apply to a garment. The object is not to make money but to protect the public, educate people and ultimately see these x-ray machines put in the dumpster."

Bruske sent samples to the Transportation Security Administration. They're response to the new underwear was, "No comment about the product."
