GLADEWATER, TEXAS (KSLA) – Union Pacific and Gladewater Police are continuing an investigation after a woman stumbles onto the path of an oncoming train.
At approximately 5:30 Tuesday night, November 16th, Gladewater Police were called to the crossing at Broadway and Pacific Avenue where a woman had been hit and killed by a train.
The victim is identified as 36 year old Crystilla Houston. Police say Houston had an altercation with a passenger in the car she was driving so she left her vehicle and ran towards the tracks.
Eyewitnesses say Houston either intentionally stepped in front of the train or stumbled in front of it.
