SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Emergency Crews have reopened the Eastbound lanes of I-20 after hazmat crews were called to clean up a fuel spill.
Traffic was stopped for just under an hour at 6:30 Wednesday morning November 17th, as crews worked to clean up two gallons of diesel fuel addictives from the roadway.
Police tell us that the truck was carrying six wooden boxes of the addictive, which they have deemed as not hazardous.
Two of those wooden boxes fell off the truck and spilled onto the highway but crews have put sand down to absorb the substance.
