Two thieves behind bars thanks to Crime Stoppers tipster

Shreveport, LA(KSLA)- A Shreveport man and woman are behind bars tonight for felony theft thanks to a concerned citizen's call to Crime Stoppers.  The tipster called in after noticing the two standing on W. 70th at Arizona.

The caller remembered seeing a report on the news that a male and female were wanted in connection with a theft at Shreveport Tractor Company.  Shreveport Police officers responded to the area and after a brief search located the suspects in the 7100 block of Westport.

The two suspects, Sherry Collier, and David Sessions, originally planned on breaking into the Kubota dealership, steal a RTV, load it in the back of the UHaul and flee to Texas.  They cut the lock to the gate, took the RTVs, drove them down the road and then got scared and dropped them off in the woods and fled into the woods.

The two wandered around in the woods periodically coming out, that's when the caller saw them and called Crime Stoppers.

Both were charged with Felony Theft.
