SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shreveport Fire Department conducted its annual 1403 fire drill today. Nearly 25 firefighters and paramedics went through possible scenarios.
The training took place off of Greenwood Road around 11 a.m.
They ranged from attacking a fire on a second floor to saving a hurt firefighter. The drill lasted for about an hour.
Chief Louis Johnson tells KSLA News 12 the reason they do this is to make sure they are sharp when the call is made for them to come.
