Time Over: Polls closed at 8 pm in LA with eyes on results

Shreveport, LA(KSLA)- Voters in Louisiana have cast their ballots in several key races.  The race for Shreveport mayor is one of those key races.  The fight is between incumbent Cedric Glover and challenger Bryan Wooley. Glover voted on the first day of early voting.  Wooley voted on election day.

Citizens' turnout will play a key role in tonight's results; Wooley is looking to keep Cedric Glover from a second term, following that October primary.

Wooley himself turned out to vote this morning at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He says he is confident that all the work that's brought his campaign to this moment will pay off -- rain or no rain.

Only time will tell, but Wooley's campaign worked hard in the last few hours: working the phones and pounding the pavement.

KSLA News 12 has several numbers citizens can call if they suspected any kind of voter fraud.
