SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Congressman Charlie Melancon paid a visit to his northwest Louisiana headquarters on Sunday to talk about early voting.
The democratic challenger for the U.S. senate seat in Louisiana arrived at the campaign office in Bossier City late this afternoon to meet with and address supporters.
That includes those who are working the phone-banks, speaking directly to voters.
He also wanted to make calls of his own.
"Same thing we had in south Louisiana... the response has been good," said Melancon.
Early voting ends at 6:00 on Tuesday night.
Both Melancon and incumbent U.S. Senator David Vitter will take part in a statewide debate on Thursday, where KSLA News 12's Jeff Ferrell will serve on the question panel.
KSLA News 12 will have complete coverage.
