Safety checkpoint in Bossier City on Monday

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – Bossier City Police are setting up a safety checkpoint somewhere in the central part of the city on Monday, October 18th.  Officers will be on the lookout for motorists not wearing their seat belts and for children not restrained in the vehicles properly. Motorists will receive citations if proper restraint is not used.   A grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission is allowing the department to operate this checkpoint.
