Electrician in Webster Parish killed in electrocution accident

WEBSTER PARISH, LA (KSLA) – Minden Police confirm a Webster Parish electrician was killed in a tragic electrocution accident at a school Thursday morning.

Police tell us 48-year-old Ricky Hennigan was electrocuted while changing a light in the gym on the Webster Jr. High School campus.

The assistant superintendent tells us no children were around when it happened and the school day was able to continue as normal.

The death is still under investigation by the school and insurance company.

Hennigan had been employed by the district for two years.
